reflection post

Is SO2 a secondary or primary pollutant? I was confused when reading over my notes.

    SO2 is a primary pollutant since it can be directly harmful when it is released from coal combustion.

    And, it causes further “harm” when it reacts with water to produce sulfuric acid (secondary pollutant).
