Hello there, Sorry for writing this here but I'm taking a look at an internet host company and your site would seem really fast so was just wondering who it is that you employ? I won't be offended if you prefer to not discuss this right here. Many thanks

Kris was a fine person and a good friend. I knew her at Armstrong State College back in the 1980's. I can safely say that she was universally liked and respected by her staff, her colleagues, students and friends. Just before I graduated, we had a long discussion in her office about career paths and choices. I listened. Thank you, Kris, for all the lives you touched along the way.

I just recently learned of Dr. Brockmeier's passing. The world has lost an angel. Dr. Brockmeier hired me at The Greenhill School in Addison. She instilled both professionalism and confidence in me. I will truly miss her. Thanks for believing in me, Dr. Brockmeier.

DOC BROCK you were awesome. I was one of those loud obnoxious rule breakers, and Doc Brock took my antics in stride (and maybe a detention or two). No hard feelings though, heaven is certainly a better place now.

Kris Brockmeier was Director of the Library at Clayton State University when I worked there in the 1980’s and she always had a great smile and sense of humor that made everything fun. You would think that working in a library would be boring but not her library. We had so much fun shelling books and moving the collection between breaks that people from other departments wanted to help us. I admired and genuinely loved her as a boss.
She was a small powerhouse of energy and guts. I remember when an angry faculty member (over six feet tall) was harassing her library/media staff and even tried to block the doorway to stop her from coming to our rescue. She slipped in right under his arm and demanded that he stop cause her staff grief for something that had nothing to do with the library or us. That blew the fuse off of what could have been a big confrontation.
We all laugh so hard after he left knowing that he was not going to try to mess with Dr. Brockmeier even when he was three time larger then she was. She supported us like a lioness supports her cubs; she did it with grace, wit and morale character. I will miss her greatly but I know that she will be a welcomed extraordinary and exceptional spirit to God in heaven.

What a wonderful woman!!! Thinking about Dr. Brockmeier makes me smile and reminds me of such wonderful times. All family will be in my thoughts. She will continue to love and watch over all of us in her state of peace. I am lucky to have know her. She really is a firey ball of energy that does not burn up, but transends into a different state. Dr. Brockmeier has inspired many and will always be close to my heart.

Lance,
You and your family have been and continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. IT's clear from the other comments that she was a very special lady.
